Rental Equipment & Damage Policy
1. Full Liability & Replacement The Renter assumes all risk of loss, theft, or damage to the equipment from the time of setup until Trippyboom Productions staff begins the breakdown (strike). This includes, but is not limited to, damage caused by event attendees, guests, or any third parties.
2. Damage by Attendees The Renter is strictly responsible for the actions of all persons at the event. If equipment is bumped, knocked over, or damaged by any attendee, the Renter is liable for the Full Replacement Cost of the equipment at current market value, plus any shipping or expedited handling fees required to restore the inventory.
3. Liquid & Food Proximity No liquids, drinks, or food are permitted within five (5) feet of any electronic equipment, including DJ consoles, speakers, lighting boards, and staging. Any liquid damage is considered a total loss and will result in a charge for full replacement.
4. Equipment Security The Renter must provide a secure environment for the equipment. If equipment is stolen or disappears during the rental period, the Renter will be billed for the full replacement value immediately.
5. Authorization of Charges By paying the deposit and confirming this booking, the Renter authorizes Trippyboom Productions to charge the credit card on file for any documented damages or replacement costs discovered during the breakdown and inspection of the equipment.
