1. Scope of Service
Trippy Boom Productions (hereinafter “TB”) agrees to provide, deliver, professionally install, and strike (take down) all lighting, music, and AV equipment as specified in the client’s individual quote. TB technicians are the only personnel authorized to handle, move, or adjust the equipment.
2. Deposit & Payment Terms
To secure the event date and equipment, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total contract price is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than three (3) days prior to the event date. TB will not deliver or set up any equipment until the balance has been paid in full.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event: The initial 50% deposit is forfeited, but no further balance is due.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the event: The client is responsible for 100% of the total contract price.
4. Damages & Equipment Loss
The Renter is responsible for providing a secure environment for all TB equipment. The Renter agrees to pay for the full repair or replacement cost of any equipment damaged, lost, or stolen during the “Rental Period” (the time between setup completion and the start of breakdown) due to guest behavior, venue negligence, or lack of security.
5. Credit Card Authorization for Damages
By signing this agreement, the Renter authorizes Trippy Boom Productions to keep a valid credit card on file. The Renter explicitly agrees and authorizes TB to charge said credit card for the full cost of any damages, missing equipment, or specialized cleaning required following the event. TB will provide an itemized invoice of any such charges within 7 business days of the event’s conclusion.
6. Venue Requirements, Electrical, & Safety
The Renter is exclusively responsible for ensuring the venue provides adequate and safe electrical outlets/circuits as specified by TB. The Renter assumes all responsibility for the security and safety of TB technicians and equipment while on-site. If the Renter is leasing or renting a facility, the Renter remains the sole party responsible for any damages caused to that property during the event. TB shall not be held liable for any venue-imposed fines, property damage, or safety failures resulting from the venue’s infrastructure.
7. Limitation of Liability
TB takes no liability whatsoever for any property damage to the venue, facility rental disputes, or personal injuries occurring at the event. The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold TB harmless against all claims, including but not limited to, facility damage, power failures at the venue, or third-party claims arising from the event’s production.
8. Governing Law (State of Texas)
